The former Wasserbauer-farm has become a R&D facility. We not only rely on theoretic figures, our machines have to cope with real conditions in long-term tests. This so called “Fütterungswelt = world of feeding” is an extended arm of our R&D department and a demo farm at the same time.
A shed to meet all requirement showing different layouts and types of stable design for beef production and dairying. From there and from customers’ ideas most of the practical input comes. We try to find the matching solution to develop a cutting-edge technology for the future.
Designed and caluculated on the screen our findings have to pass practical test in the „Fütterungswelt“ under strictest conditions. From there it goes back to further development in the R&D department before it is ready for practical usage.
Showroom, demonstration, seminar room - all in one. The feeding world has already been visited by thousands of visitors. Farmers go there to get all detailed information before decision making for buying a Wassebauer-equipment. Lots of agricultural collegues come to get the most recent information on new feeding technology as well as farmer organisations or journalists.
The first machine, a Kuhmeister has been designed on the farm of the Senior Director, Mr. Franz Wasserbauer. This farm till today is run successfully where all the new technology is tested. Continuously new technology of other companies which produce complementary equipment is tested and shown there, f. e. ventilation, drinking systems, milking equipment, rubber floors, hoof trimming crushes and feed fences.
This keeps us up-to-date and enable us to look forwards and to develop stables for the future.
A successfull example how new technolgoy in agriculture can be like:
Farmed by Roman Schmidberger (son in law of Mr. Wasserbauer sen) and his wife. Mr. Wasserbauer himself still is in charge of the technology and to attend visitors.
